From 9 to 12, the 28th China International Mining Conference, themed "Win-Win Cooperation and Green Intelligence," was held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. Organized by the China Chamber of Commerce of Minerals Industry with guidance from the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, the event attracted government representatives and exhibitors from nearly 50 countries worldwide. With a total exhibition area of 6.5 square meters and over 650 participating organizations, the conference set a new record in scale.

Recently, Shanxi Province's first geothermal mining right was listed for sale on the provincial Natural Resources Online Trading Platform. PetroChina Jiyu (Yuncheng) New Energy Development Co., Ltd. successfully acquired the geothermal mining right for the Yuncheng Economic and Technological Development Zone block.

With the first cooperation agreement signed between the energy authorities of Sichuan and Chongqing, the goal of building the Sichuan Basin into China's largest natural gas production base has entered full implementation. In 2020, the Development and Reform Commissions and Energy Bureaus of Chongqing Municipality and Sichuan Province jointly signed the "Cooperation Agreement on Promoting High-Quality Development of Energy Integration in the Chengdu-Chongqing Twin City Economic Circle," marking a historic step forward in cross-regional energy collaboration.
